I need to vent!(long)

DH and I go shopping this morning, we get nearly all of our Christmas gifts bought.. we were on the way home when we get a phone call from our landlord (we live in a duplex).  Apparently our washer and dryer closet backs up to our neighbor lady's and she called him because water was leaking on her side..  so he waited for us to get home.  I get in the door and 30 seconds later I've got 3 men in my basement moving around my laundry baskets, washer and dryer.  Turns out our washer's connectors to the wall are leaking... So now.. they are tearing the wall out. and its gonna be torn out for 2 weeks to dry before new dry wall goes up.  Not what I wanted to deal with when i just walk into the door.

 DH doesn''t understand why I'm frustrated...   he's only worrying about getting to our friends house for the game, while these guys continue to rip out dry wall.  I don't want to leave my dog here alone with these guys :(   Not to mention the cat box is downstairs by them and needs to be cleaning.. GRRR.
