So, as I have stated before I am a BTN(Big Time Newbie) to this TTC thing. Its all pretty overwhelming. My question for those of you that have been at this for a while, is how do you make it through the 2WW??? I should be used to hurry up and wait type thing since I have been a military spouse for 2 years. This wait feels like when I was waiting around for my hubby to finish basic, but somehow worse. I don't think I can handle this month after month, and I hope I don't have to. I am at a measly 4 or 5dpo, still have much more of the wait to go. Its so tempting to start peeing on the stick right away, I can't wait until the end of next week so I can start testing! I feel like I am going crazy! Its all I can think about!

Re: The crazy 2WW
Hello from a former Marine Corps Wife!
I've found it's essential to try as best you can to not over analyze your symptoms, temps, etc. during the 2WW. You get better at it as the months go on. Taking up a hobby of some kind, starting a new book, or whatever can help it go by faster. You'll get the hang of it...but hopefully you don't have to, if you know what I mean
GL to you!
However-- as soon as I'm finished being busy, I instantly think about pregnancy. The wait is not easy!
I am in the same boat as you. This is my first month TTC & I am about 2 or 3 dpo. I have been incredibly busy with Thanksgiving & Black Friday shopping, but the wait is still killing me!!! I keep trying not to think about it, but I am not very good at that!!!
Here's to waiting together... hopefully it will go fast!
I'm in my first month of TTC too and it's been taking over my life! hehe (or at least my thoughts!)
I'm on 7 DPO and caved and took a test this morning - BFN....duh. I knew that before I even unwrapped the thing. Implantation probably wouldn't have even happened yet, but I'm just too excited.
I'm definitely waiting until next Thursday when AF is supposed to come before I test again. Total bummer!
IVF #1 w/ ICSI 9/2012 (10M 6F), ET 9/24 (1 good pre-blast), BETA 10/4= BFN,
IVF #2 Microflare w/ ICSI 12/2012 (19M 7F), ET 12/16 (2 Good blasts),
BETA 12/26= BFP (356), BETA 12/28 (840) 2nd Ultrasound shows TWINS!!
it is really hard. But like others have said, just try to stay busy.
I ordered a lot of IC (internet cheapies) from amazon so that I could POAS early and not spend a ton of money. However, I would NOT recommend this if seeing a BFN is difficult for you. If you know it is early and you just want to see if just maybe you could get a BFP but it is ok to see a BFN, then go for it.
My first month, i read into every little phantom symptom and got my hopes up. BFN. Second month I was better about not reading into phantom symptoms but I got my hopes up towards the end because my temps were looking good. BFN. Onto cycle three.
GL and welcome to the board!

Me too. I suck.
bfp 1 - m/c 1.31.11 @ 10 weeks
bfp 2 - baby born via c-section on 5.4.12 @ 37 weeks
bfp 3 - blighted ovum/d&c on 4.13.13 @ 8 weeks
bfp 4 - 3rd IUI, very late BFN with super low P, c/p
bfp 5 - natural bfp while on lupron, baby born via RCS on 4.27.15 @ 39 weeks
bfp 6 - surprise! baby born via RCS on 11.13.16 @ 38 weeks
This! Personally, knowing one way or the other (at least for that day) does seem to help me get through it. For some though, it is really difficult to see a BFN and not helpful at all.
