did anyone have an US at 5weeks?

in 1st Trimester

I am meeting with a maternal fetal doc on Thursday due to my APA. he will determine the need of anticoagulants during my pregnancy and also said they'll do a transvag US.

Did anyone ever have an US that early? I don't expect to see a heartbeat of course but did anyone see anything?

    I did with my 1st DD at 5 weeks 5 days.  She was just a little circle with a tiny flickering speck in the middle that was the beginning of a heartbeat.

    I did with my first pregnancy but only because I was spotting. They only saw the sac at that time. We saw the heartbeat ten days later.

    My first u/s was at exactly 5 weeks..we saw the gestational sac.

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
    Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    My first u/s was at 5w5d.  I saw the yolk sac and a tiny speck that was the baby.  It was way too early to see the heartbeat.

    I had one at 4w6d and there was no hb, yet.

    I had one yesterday, an external and internal.  They just saw the sac, no hb.  I had it because I was experiencing pain in my left side, they found a out that I have a cyst.

    My 1st pregnancy was a MC, so for this 2nd one they sent me for a u/s at 5wks.  It was officially 5w5d and all that we saw was a yolk sac.  We went again yesterday morning at 7w5d and got to see the baby and see/hear the heartbeat.

    this, we didn't see the flicker but a spot (I was told fetal pole). Dr called it a "diamond ring baby"

    Our first was at 5w4d and we saw the gestational sac and the yolk sac. We went again at 6w2d and saw baby and beating heart! The changes over a few days are amazing!

    I had my first usat 4 weeks. We didnt see anything except the gestational sac. We go back Tuesday for another,we are keepin our fingers crossed!

    We did because I was spotting and freaking out. We saw the gestational sac and yolk sac! We are going again tomorrow afternoon to *hopefully* see the heartbeat!
