If your child has had Strep throat before...

How long did the fever last?

E was diagnosed with Strep on Wednesday and has run a pretty high fever on and off since then.  She started the antibiotics on Wednesday night.

    I want to say it was more than a few days worth of fever after the medicine. It took a good week for her to get over everything that was going on. She had strep, a double ear infection and was cutting I think about 5 or 6 teeth.

    OK, thank you; I won't be alarmed yet then...although I hope it doesn't take a whole week because she is being a beast! Jeez, poor you (and her) - that was a lot going on at once!
