I had my HSG done last Thursday and at that time, my OBGYN said she thought my one (only) tube looked clear but she just left a vm saying that the radiologist disagrees and thinks I am blocked. She said we should talk about using a camera or sending me to REI. Someone please explain what goes on with a camera and what entails a visit with REI? My heart sunk, as I really thought this would be our month.
Re: HSG not all clear....
I also don't have any experience with this but really hope you get some answers and a plan soon.
From what I have seen on the board I think (and please correct me if I'm wrong ladies) that with a camera the Dr. can look inside your tube to find out what (if anything) is blocking it and where it is blocked. From there I think there are treatment options depending on what they find.
By REI do you mean RE (Reproductive Endocrinologist)? They are fertility specialists who help women who are having trouble TTC get pregnant and stay pregnant. A step up from your OB who will provides care during pregnancy.
Good luck with everything
