What is your fav place for maternity clothes? If you are in them yet...

I am in desperate need of some maternity clothes ( was really preggo in sumemr for my first LO), but every store around me has either no maternity section or a really tiny one, where things are hideously ugly or dont fit me right. Where have you gotten your fav maternity clothes? TIA!

  • I bought 4 pairs of pants at Kohls's.  I tried the ones at Old Navy and that was just laughable, they did not fit right at all for me.

  • I have to dress nicely for work so I always keep an eye out for sales. I can't say I have a "favorite." But so far, I've found the best selection at the Gap and Old Navy online. They are also always having sales which is perfect for me because I refuse to pay full price for anything maternity. I picked up a few shirts from the clearance rack by Motherhood Maternity at Macy's yesterday. I also bought some Motherhood and Pea in the Pod stuff from their outlet, but I haven't bought anything from the actual stores. I don't get the impression that their sales are as major as the stores that aren't totally dedicated to maternity.

  • I've got some stuff from Kohls and Old Navy, the ON stuff is my fave. If you do order from there check the reviews for sizing.

I also found some great stuff at a local consignment store.

  • I was  preggo in the summer last time too. I have just tried to purchased the least amount this time. a pair of jeans from mother hood my old ones were riding down think they will fit me later on., a few t-shirts and 2 sweaters this time. They are mainly from Kohls and Old Navy. I also bought a couple of shirts at kohl's junior section. I am currently returning things from motherhood because the same thing at kohls maybe not as nice but a lot cheaper.
  • The Gap. I love their pants, jeans and shirts so far. I was also pg during the summer last time and just wore shorts all the time.  I need to get a lot of work clothes and the Gap has been great. I also got leggings from Motherhood and can still wear my regular ones and got some great shirts/sweaters from Gap and ON to wear with them.

  • Target mostly, but also Old Navy and I got the BEST maternity jean from H&M..I got two different pairs and they are amazing, plus they were only $20.  I don't wear that many maternity tops though..and didn't with DD either.

  • The Gap has been my favorite.  I bought a lot of stuff from ON at first, but it's so cheap and I don't feel great in it.  I really like my Gap items much better even though it costs a little more.
  • gap.com, oldnavy.com, motherhood. Also rockstarmoms

  • I've shopped mainly in the places people mentioned above, but I also got a few things at forever21.com. They have a small maternity section, but the tops are really cute and they don't look so maternity-ish.

  • Motherhood Maternity has a good selection, and usually quite a bit on their clearance racks!

  • Old Navy.com and Target are my two favorite places to shop

  • Kohl's.  Online they have great clearance.  My local store has a tiny section, but I found some great deals there too.  I took advantage of sales and coupons for all my pants.
  • I love kohl's, old navy and target. for summer or winter and anything inbetween.

  • I got my favorite pants from Kohls and Sears, actually.

I've gotten good shirts from Kohls, Sears, ON, and Motherhood.

Kohls, Sears, and ON have really small selections locally, but I got some good stuff at ON.com. Their shirts are HUGE, though. I should've gone a size smaller. Maybe I'll be glad to have them later on.

  • I'm not wearing maternity yet, but I shopped in Pea in the Pod and I really liked it. They seem to sell stuff that I can actually see myself wearing like more tailored options, rather than just a lot of empire waist or tent type shirts.
  • H&M and Forever 21 are GREAT for cheaper trendy stuff.  They have comfy and roomy tops. And since they are non maternity clothes they will still be wearable afterwards.

Old Navy i go to for plain cotton shirts and cardigans when they are on sale.  I go to Gap for stuff that i consider to be of better quality.  I have not spent a lot of money on expensive clothes.  Ross and Marshalls have some awesome deals.  For the most part i live in maternity jeans from Gap and old navy shirts OR leggings and long sweaters... and boots of course!

  • JCPenney....and there entire maternity section goes on sale for 50% off about once a month.

  • I like Kohl's.  I'm not in them yet this time around.  Last pregnancy I borrowed a lot of clothes from a friend and most of them were from Mother Hood Maternity or Kohl's.  I like Mother Hood too, but Kohl's is usually cheaper and has better sales.  The Old Navy pants didn't fit me real well.

  • I found tons of stuff for reasonable prices at Motherhood Maternity.  Actually it was Destination Maternity, which includes Pea in the Pod, but I didn't go to that side.  I got a long-sleeve dress I can wear to work for $25 regular price.  Most of their shirts are around $25 too. Work pants around $30.  I can't even get regular pants for that cheap!

I've tried Gap and Old Navy, but it's hit or miss for me.  I think they just don't fit my body right.  Target has some occasional shirts or sweaters that I like.  It's just usually so unorganized that it freaks me out!

Also, I just found out that Anne Taylor Loft has maternity.  It's a bit expensive but they have some cute things.

  • Isabella Oliver, Due Maternity, Mom's the Word, Gilt, etc.
  • I love my maternity jeans from GAP, they're called sexy boot. The nursing tops from Old Navy are great for layering under my cardigans. Motherhood Maternity was awful except for their ruched tees. Honestly I love Forever 21 the most, and not the maternity, but the regular clothes. I pick them up a size larger than I usually would and they look adorable.
