If you have a blog: help please!

I am setting up a blogger/blogspot and I am having trouble getting my picture behind my header centered. I was looking at someone's blog (I forget who, but it was called Born in a Barn) and the picture was perfectly centered. Mine is all the way on the left but I don't see any alignment options. In all the templates/layouts they look like they should be in the middle.  Help please! TIA <3


 

bfp 1 - m/c 1.31.11 @ 10 weeks

bfp 2 - baby born via c-section on 5.4.12 @ 37 weeks

bfp 3 - blighted ovum/d&c on 4.13.13 @ 8 weeks

bfp 4 - 3rd IUI, very late BFN with super low P, c/p

bfp 5 - natural bfp while on lupron, baby born via RCS on 4.27.15 @ 39 weeks

bfp 6 - surprise! baby born via RCS on 11.13.16 @ 38 weeks

     If you get it figured out, please post! I tried for hours to get that figured out a couple months back, with no luck. I hate when Blogger updates their formats, I have to relearn everything.

    My guess would be that your picture isn't big enough. Check the dimensions of your picture. It also depends on how wide you have your blogger set to. HTH.

    You have to adjust the width.  Layout > adjust width > entire blog

    If you want to make a banner with everything in it to head the page of your blog, they usually look really nice. I just recently learned how to center mine:

    when you log into your blogger go to "design"

    from there you are going to click on "template designer"

    go to "advanced"

    scroll down to "add css"

    then insert this code:
    #Header1 {width:650px;margin:0 auto}

     

    Ta-DA! Centered header or whatever picture you put in there! HTH

    ETA: you can tweak the "650" changing the numbers around to get it exactly where you want it and figure out what looks best!
