Question about FF chart and FSH tests

When you click on my FF ticker it doesn't show anything but my temps.  When I go to FF website it shows everything below like when I make that I was crampy, drank pom juice, etc.  Anyone know how to fix this or can I fix it?  Also, has anyone ever done the FSH poas test starting CD3 of your cycle just to see what it says?  I did the first test today and it was negative.

    Why are you doing the FSH tests? 

    I honestly HATE those things.  As a woman with elevated FSH (I needed IVF to concieve my DD and due to my poor ovarian reserve was only able to retrieve 5 eggs while on HIGH stims at 27 years old) it just makes no sense to me to take a + or - test for something like that.

    Here's the deal...  Those tests are measuring "high" FSH as VERY high.  Like close to 20 - pre/post menopausal kind of numbers. In reality, anything over 9 or 10 is considered borderline high and has an impact on fertility.  So when you get your +/- result (not sure which is the good result) you aren't really getting a read of your fertility at all.  Because some women will be told that they are fine and "fertile" but are sitting with an FSH at 15 which would disqualify them from most IVF programs.

    Sorry to be on my soap box but if you are truly worried about your fertility, go have CD 3 bloodwork drawn and see your true FSH.  There is a ton of gray to fertility... it isn't "yes" or "no".

    First I'd like to say your new little boy is absolutely adorable!!! Second, I'm not worried at all.  Just saw it and thought, what the heck.  I've done them before, but always have TTC on the brain, thats all.  Just curious though, how did you discover you had high FSH? Were you able to conceive your son on your own and did you need IVF for him as well? He's gorgeous.

    Just wanted to say hi J, surprised to "see" you here! Smile

    I will admit, I caved and did the FR test. I had a hard time reading it. There was a line, but I am not sure how dark it was. And I agree with sweetheart, there are a lot of factors with TTC and it can give you false hope or false fear.
