Those who spot mid cycle come in

and tell me what your experiences are like. Sorry I'm bumping from my phone so no paragraphs. I never spot mid cycle. I thought maybe AF was showing again, I know stupid. But WTF? I'm confused and scared. I guess I just need someone to tell me this is normal. Unfortunately, I'm away from home for TG so I haven't temped the last few days. I have been continuing with taking EPO and wearing my OvWatch everynight, however. I don't have any ICs with me to test my surge but I didn't feel inclined to bring any with me as I usually O late (CD 31 last cycle) and my OvWatch is telling me I'm NF (not fertile). So, this is normal to spot mid cycle right? Sorry for such a newb question. TIA ETA: Wanted to add that DH and I had sex wed night and I'm thinking this is from bumping the cervix too much. Also the spotting is red and for a brief moment required a tampon... Now it's just brownish red spotting when I wipe.

    Is this your first cycle taking EPO? I started taking it for the first time this month and it was the first time I had cramps/spotting after my period ended. I also thought maybe my period was coming back because I had red flow for a bit... I can't say for sure that it was the EPO, but it was the only thing I was doing differently. And I never spot after my period, and I especially don't have cramps. 

    Anyways, something to think about. I stopped taking EPO yesterday and so far today, no cramps or spotting. I read online that EPO can cause uterine contractions, which is why they don't recommend it for after O, so I think I may be very sensitive to it. You may want to stop taking it for a few days and see if that is what's causing your spotting. That's just my experience with it.

    But regardless, try not to worry. If it continues, you could always bring it up to your OB/GYN if you are concerned...

    Oh, and I should add that other than the few times it was red, most of it was brown and just when I wiped. But the cramps were BAD!

    I took EPO last cycle and had a big temp spike and spotted for my first time ever during Ovulation.  I was hurting really bad as well but went away when the spotting did.  It was like pinkish EWCM.  This month I slacked off because I was sick and wasn't sure how it interacted with the meds.  I have had dull cramps since before O this month as I took it for 3 days before stopping.

    I too have bled mid cycle...usually noticed with intercourse. I have not taken EPO at all...I figured this bleeding was also do to intercourse. Not sure.

    I always spot a around ovulation time. My OBGYN says it's normal.

    Thanks for responding ladies. TanyaKM, this is the first time I'm taking EPO starting at CD1. Last cycle I took some EPO but only a few days before O and didn't experience any cramping or spotting. I'll do an experiment and stop taking it and see what happens.
