Let's hear those inappropriate IL comments from TG day!

Well, my IL's don't ask about TTC anymore and we haven't shared anything that is going on, although we did tell them about the first MC. However, yesterday during dinner she was talking about how she has three sets of china she is saving in the garage from her mother, but never uses them. I asked her why she has kept them if she doesn't want to use them and she said she is hoping she has a granddaughter someday who will inherit them. DH is an only child.

Indifferent Geez, no pressure or anything. I could have smacked her.

MIL: "I went into Daffy's the other day and I told (her s/o) that I want to buy all these clothes for my grand daughter!" (Clearly) We are not pregnant. And if I have a son, what...he won't be deserving of clothes?

I was holding my cousin's baby (he is 8 months) and my MIL says to my DH "see that (pointing to me w/ the baby)- why don't you have one yet" - as if we aren't trying! but - this from the woman who offered to buy us a crib for our wedding present ::eye roll::

My BIL who I can't stand because he always says things that make me want to drop kick him in the throat once told me, "Having kids isn't that expensive, plus your parents pay for most of our kid costs." This was when I told him that we can't start trying because we weren't financially ready.

...my parents give them enough money to cover their mortgage monthly. I've never seen a dime from my parents.

MIL talking about giving away furniture from a deceased great-aunt: "We can take that little table you've been storing in your guest room. I'm assuming you'll need that room for something else soon...right??"

I have a couple...that's the joy of multiple Thanksgivings! hah!

Got into an infertility discussion with in-laws (FIL is an OBGYN). It was ok, but a little awkward. Having your FIL ask you if you're using OPKs isn't the ideal after-dinner convo. Picking a Dr. came up (which MIL has been talking to me for the last month, just about every time I speak/see her). I didn't have the guts to tell her I'm seeing a MW December 17th....they despise the idea.

Then, at my parent's, someone asks..."Would you like a glass of wine?" I reply no, because I'm not really a big drinker anyways...and I just wasn't in the mood to drink. And my Gma goes, "ooooh!" I then informed the entire room that it wasn't possible because I started my period yesterday. That shut them up real quick. Nothing like the discussion of AF during dinner

Oh! and THEN! One of my mom's friends said to me Wednesday...."So, you're kinda glowing..." WTF?!
