Yay dh for waiting in line this morning at bru!

Dh was first in line at our BRU to put the deposit down to order our glider.  He had to be at work at 6:30, so we were worried about it taking too long.  It was cold enough that no one was getting out of their cars when he got there at about 4:15.  He said by the time they opened at 5 there were about 70 people in line.  He was set to go.  I had everything written down, so he just went straight to the desk, handed them the paper, and bam things were done.  He even got to go and get coffee afterwards before work. 

Now, I just hope there isn't a crazy wait for our chair.  I'm always stuck at work.  This is the first year we have ever gotten anything.  Just couldn't pass up the deal.

Anyone else go get some great deals today?

    How sweet of him! 

    I bought my bassinet on Amazon. It was marked down from $230 to $110, and rather than waiting and hoping someone would buy it for my shower I decided to buy it on my own.

    They should have told your dh how long it would take after he placed the order. i am kind of nervous for you that it won't be to you in time, i have heard it can take 11 weeks depending on fabric.

    I got mine from BRU & it took about 5 weeks and I did custom fabric.  It was back in sept-oct though...

    Wow, 70 ppl at BRU @ 5am?  We made it to BRU around 7, with my dad, who was paying for our rocker/recliner, and had no issues ordering the one we wanted in an almost-empty store.  I just couldn't face getting there at 5!  But yay for your DH, braving that madness for you.  Smile

    They told him 7 - 10 days.  We'll see.  I won't be shocked if we have to wait, but it will be worth it.  I'm hoping since our order was placed in the eastern time zone asap that maybe that will help to get ours snagged sooner rather than later.  I don't know how their system works exactly though.  Fingers crossed.  I guess if it takes longer that just means we can take longer to get the final payment in.
