Similac Sensitive users--

E uses this.  I know that Target and BRU have a store brand that is also lactose-free. Anyone have experience with these brands? They are significantly cheaper, but I don't want to mess with LO's tummy. TIA.

Re: Similac Sensitive users--

  • We tried the Target brand and we didn't have any issues with it messing up LO's system, but he didn't care much for the taste. Sim Sensitive is supposedly one of the better tasting formulas on the market so some babies are picky after getting it. We had a huge tub of the target kind so we started mixing bottles with 1/2 sim and 1/2 generic just until we finished off the tub.

  • We tried the BRU brand during the recall.  My daughter was pooping rocks for 2 days on that formula.  We went back to the Similac sensitive and she was back to normal.
  • We use the Wal-Mart brand, Parents Choice, and LO seems to like it just as well as Similac Sensitive and it's WAY cheaper!
