So I was having trouble with ovulation...doc has had me using ovulation tests ()which say to start testing on DAY 9) and i have gotten no positive results for the last 2 months...today is day 7 and i have all the symptoms...is it possible to ovulate earlier than day 9?

    It could be, each person is different so you could ovulate early. I've never gotten a positive OPK but according to my temps I do O every month. OPK's just predict the hormone surge needed to O, temping confirms that you actually did O so I would suggest temping so you can truly pinpoint. www.fertilityfriend.com is free and a great way to learn about and to actually chart.     What symptoms are you having?  I'm not sure what you mean by symptoms of ovulation.

    You could either not be ovulating, or you could just be missing your surge.  How often are you testing?  What time of day?  Ditto what pp said, you might want to chart...it's the only way to confirm if/when you are ovulating.  GL!
