Did any smells make you sick yesterday?

I was at my in-laws and my MIL was making chitterlings. When I walked down the steps, I thought I was going to lose it. Now, I don't like them normally, but being pregnant was a whole new ballgame. I could not even sit in the house. I had to go outside.

WHAT????? How could something so delicious make you gag? Oh my, I am so sorry!

Every once in awhile my DH will use a few too many spices in our food and I have to tell him to tone it down a little, make my stuff more bland. I only got slightly nauseous a couple of times yesterday.

I think there's many a non-pregnant person who'd barf at the smell of them.

Someone brought out a plate of venison sausage. I wouldn't eat it normally, but I gagged as soon as I saw it and smelled it and couldn't look at DH while he ate it. If I had morning sickness, I probably would have puked at the table. Ick.

No smells, but a trifecta of misery: riding backwards on the subway (with a brake-happy conductor) while reading. Just made it to my destination...

FILs stuffing, which I think is nasty already. Apparently almost everyone else thought it was nasty too, it was hardly eaten. Who ruins stuffing with red wine? My FIL. My mashed potatoes were amazing though

I got the flu from my husband last week and couldn't stop throwing up, had to go to the ER to get IV fluids and lo and behold while waiting in the waiting room a woman pulled out a lb of sauerkraut and rye bread and proceeded to eat for the next half hour. I have never smelled anything so awful in my life.
