Anyone use Flips or Econobums?

Does anyone use Flips or Econobums?  I'm attracted to them because of price, but also because the covers are reusable through the day.  You just change out the insert/prefold.  What is your experience?

    I love our Flips!  It's my go to diaper at home since I save the pockets for daycare.  The stay dry inserts are trim yet very absorbant and have never leaked.  I usually rotate between two covers everyday unless it's a poop and then it usually can't be reused.  I also have a few of the organic inserts that I use at night.  I tried 2 other hybris systems and these were by far my fave.  They are great for travel as well.  I've also used the disposable inserts which work pretty well.

    We love our Flips.  They are my go-to diaper bag diaper since they are more compact than our pockets.  EBF poops have gotten on the cover, no experience with more solid poop yet.  But since my guy poops WAY less than he used to (like not 6 times a day) it isn't a problem for us anymore.

    I have a couple of econobums and I have been really pleased with them. They are almost exactly like thirsties. I did have one leak with a huge EBF poop, but I could have put the prefold in a little crooked idk. I just wonder being so much cheaper how long the elastic will last, but that is really my only concern with them.

    Thanks for the info!  We bought 2 covers and 6 inserts last night and a pack of their disposable inserts.  We're going to buy some Econobums the next time we get paid.  I read on a couple of reviews that there are people who like using the Flip covers with the Econobum prefolds.  The covers for both looked very similar to me, except Econobums don't come in colors.  I guess we'll try both and see what we like.

    I also bought some Bum Genius diapers (Cotton Babies is probably loving me- all three brands are part of this company!).  We certainly don't have enough for our stash yet, but it's nice to get started.  I wish I would have started buying earlier in my pregnancy, but I couldn't make up my mind about what I wanted to buy.

    I have Flips and Econobums and love the flips! In fact DD is wearing one right now. I actually used the Econobums prefolds with the flip covers with my DS when he was potty training and i got sick of buying pull-ups. I figured that I already had them (didn't CD with DS but built a stash for DD) and we might as well use them, plus it eased me into the whole CDing thing. They worked well with him. I'm not a huge fan of the Econobum covers though. I haven't tried them on DD yet because with everything I have I don't really need them in the rotation (I also have pockets and fitteds and bummis covers and thirsties covers). I tried them on my son and that's when i found i liked the Flips better than EBs because their snaps are different. The flips snaps are vertical and the EB's are horizontal which makes the fabric roll down. They seem like a cheaper feeling cover too (which they are $ wise) but I might use them down the road.
