holy crap!
At my previous job, I worked with a girl (S)....she was in her early twenties, married with a young daughter. She was also abused by her husband. Apparently, they were working things out (aren't they always) and they moved from CA to Arizona. She had a new job and seemed to be doing well. She would send me letters and cards once in awhile and we talked on MySpace/Facebook. She hadn't been responding to anything on the internet in a long time though.
One of S's friends (N) since she was 14 worked there too in another dept. One of my friends just talked to N and she told her that S is living homeless on the streets of San Francisco, working as a prostitute and shooting up heroin. N said that she had gone out to San Francisco to try to help her and that S didn't even recognize her. Her and her husband are divorced and she hasn't seen her daughter in years. So crazy & sad!
