38 weeks and cramping

Just starting feeling intermittent back and abdominal "menstrual type" cramps this afternoon (not timeable or severe). I was wondering if others have been feeling crampy off/on and if they have had it for several days without going into "real labor". I was 1cm and 60% effaced yesterday at the MD's office.

I've been having this too the last few days. It usually goes away when I lay on my side though, so I'm pretty sure it's not real labor.

I'm 39.5 weeks and have had this for about a month. Gradually I got to 3cm and 70% effaced. Hoping to go into labor at any time!

I've had menstrual like cramps my whole pregnancy. My doc says they are BH's but I don't really get that tightening feeling, it's just a crampy feeling.

I had that for SIX hours the other night. I finally dozed off for about an hour and they were gone

BOO. False labor stinks...
