The good news is that some awesome nestie kids were born on Nov 29th. My Joshua and M&M's Mia. Not to mention Rayskit10. You never know she could just come all on her own in the middle of Thanksgiving.

This is what I'm really hoping for but the doctor didn't feel too confident.
Induction is not a bad thing. I had 1 after 41 weeks and no signs that DD was getting ready to come out. I went to the hospital at 7:00 am on Monday morning, got the pitocin at 8:00 am. A started pushing at 7:55 pm and DD was born at 8:23 pm.
I know the feeling. I ended up opting for the c-section because I was afraid my induction would fail since I was SO not physically ready. And she was huge. My OB told me later she didn't think I'd have had her naturally. The wouldn't let me go past 40 weeks because of her size, though.
But soooo many people just suddenly go into labor!
Walk a lot, and hopefully she'll decide to make an appearance in the middle of Thanksgiving dinner
She could still make her debut on her own. If she's like her momma, she won't like being told when to come out and so she'll just come on her own before Monday. Good luck either way and can't wait to meet your baby girl!
The exact same thing happened to me. No progress, OB scheduled the induction for Monday, I went into labor on Saturday night. You just never know!~
I am so excited for you!
Yup. Me too. I was 7 days past my due date when an induction was scheduled. I was barely dilated at like 1 cm. I was supposed to go in for my induction 3 days later at 10 days past due date at 7 am. I went in to labor at 3 am.
I never had any progression. I was scheduled to have him on a Saturday and that next Tuesday I had an appt. My doc knew I just wanted the baby out. She had told me my amniotic fluid was below the safe point, even though DS was fine, so she sent me home to pack and then straight to the hospital. After 12 hours of Cervadil nothing had changed. They started the pitocin and I had a little progress. About 10 hours later, and 30 minutes before they were to come in and break my water cause still not much had happened, it broke on it's own. From there everything happened very quickly. So I would like to think that was when my body was ready....so, you never know when it could happen.
Re: well, have an induction set for Monday

No need to worry about the induction.

Hang in there!
I went for my last appt on a Fri morning - zero progress and was 41 weeks 2 days. Induction was set for the following Tuesday.
I ended up going into labor THAT NIGHT!
There's still hope!
I'm still here
Thanks everyone for giving me hope though!!
Monday is a great birthday!
Here's hoping your yummy Thanksgiving meal will crowd her enough that she wants to come out.
