DH asked whether the great sperm race was happening today?

I said yes, but we probably need reinforcements.

We watched the videos online earlier this week.  I hadn't realized how relatively few sperm make it all the way to the egg (I guess it makes sense but still I was surprised) -- no wonder it can take a long time even under ideal circumstances.
