OK, so I'm new to the site and all, I've been lurking around the boards and stuff. But I'm so excited that me and DH are starting TTC (as of yesterday)!!!! We aren't telling our families we're trying because when we do get preggers we want it to be a complete suprise. I know ya'll don't know me and stuff, but i had to tell someone.
Re: TTC and Excited
Have you really been lurking??? LOL!
Anyway, best of luck on your TTC journey and I hope it's a short one.
This is what I was thinking. Just because then you'd probably know that we HATE the words prego or preggers. It's just pregnant. You can even shorten it to PG...but please no preggers. lol.
But anyway, welcome and gl! Hope your stay is short and sweet.
Welcome and GL!
You should also check out fertilityfriend.com and learn how to chart. Learning your body is very important when TTC.
Welcome and GL! I would suggest charting on fertility friend. You can sign up through any of our tickers.

P/SAIF Welcome
Welcome and happy trying! I dont know why people have a problem with "preggers" or "preggo"....i dont LOL..why tell people what they can and cannot say just because you "dont like it"...not trying to start drama, just sayin! well, whatever you want to call it (haha)..i hope it happens soon for you and every lady in here! Best of luck with your TTC journey and try not to stress...it will happen
Welcome to the board, I hope your stay is short.
avila2308- I can't agree more with what you said about why people have a problem with the word preggers or preggo. I don't care either. Infact, I find myself saying preggers or preggo more than I do pg or any other abbreviation. I am not trying to start drama either, just stating that everyone has their own way of opinino and I'm sharing mine.
People have issues w/ preggo and preggers because we're big girls and should use our big girl words. Honestly, I could give a rat's arse...I was making a joke about her claiming to lurk yet using the term preggo.
P/SAIF Welcome

It is what it is, chica. Some women don't have a problem with it, and for others it's the biggest pet peeve. We're adults, we can say "pregnant," along with "sex," "penis," and "vagina."

After 2 years of TTC#1, 2 losses, & a lot of prayers, we're hoping this is it!
Congratulations and welcome -- from a fellow newbie!
H and I are in a similar boat (we're not starting until the beginning of the year), but we don't want to tell. This board is the perfect outlet.
