Are you guys planning to adopt any more?

Yeah. We're going to wait another couple of years in case there's a biological sibling born and we'll foster/adopt that child. If not, we'll start the domestic infant adoption process in about 2 years and hopefully we'll get through the process and get a placement when Char is between 3 and 4ish. i don't really want more space than that if possible.

Wow. This makes me happy and sad at the same time.

I have wanted to say for a long time that I am really happy you were able to adopt Char. I used to remember your siggy and it broke my heart to think that you could develop a relationship and then have to give her up. I'm so glad things worked out! I admire you as a mommy!

Char has 2 older biological siblings and 1 older half-sibling so it's not beyond the realm of possibility at all. In fact lately it's been weighing on my mind; not sure if it's intuition or baby fever lol, but i've been feeling like we could get a call any day.

Wow...well for yours and Char's sake, I hope you're right. Obviously, this would be wonderful for her to have that connection. Just makes me sad for the mother and whatever situation she is in.

We didn't bother with birth control after having LO, but I don't expect we'll be pregnant again until we do a FET (frozen embryo transfer) in a couple years
