I have a few questions regarding symptoms of early pregnancy.
My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for about 4 months now
and ever since I went off my birth control I've been noticing slight
changes with my body such as slight cramps and bloating when it's nowhere even close
to the time to start my period. And my cycle has been getting longer and longer. I'm up to 35 days which I know not to be normal but then again before I went on BCPs I would go 2 months without a period so I guess my body is just going back the way it used to be but I don't recall ever having bloating or cramps so far away from starting my cycle.
Last night I woke feeling slightly nauseated and really hot though the room wasn't any hotter than every other night. I've also been noticing some bloating and cramping (but I've noticed that with every cycle since I went off the pill) and once during the day I got queasy in the car coming home from the gun range. However, I still have another two weeks till I'm supposed to start my period. I've been tracking my temp too but have not noticed any changes even during the time I was supposed to be ovulating. Could this indicate that I might be pregnant?? There was one day my temp was really low (96.8), but other than that it's been a stead 97.7.
I'm almost scared to test because I don't want to be let down again. That and the hubby keeps saying that I need to wait till I'm late for my period.
The last time I thought I was pregnant I and it turned out I
wasn't, I was depressed for about 3 days. Any ideas as to what some of the *abnormal* early signs are? I say abnormal because nothing about my cycle has ever been *normal* so I figure I may not follow the common symptoms of early pregnancy.
Re: Some early signs maybe?
If your period isn't due for another 2 weeks, then you might be ovulating and the cramps you are feeling might be ovulation pain.
I would say if you really are 2 weeks from your period, you are probably not experiencing early pregnancy signs yet. That normally won't happen until about 7-10 days past your ovulation date.
Hope this helps.
Hmm I don't know where to start with this.First, you will have a temp shift if you ovulate. If you don't have one, then you didn't O.
Second-if your period is 2 weeks away, you are NOT pregnant. Your luteal phase would probably be about 2 weeks, so if you are charting, you could be Oing now.
Third-35 days is not an abnormal length whatsoever for a cycle.
If you read the newbie info at the top of the page and join Fertility Friend through mine or anyone elses ticker, you will learn TONS. GL
Considering you just came off BCPs a few months ago, I'll have to say that it may take you a little longer for your body to regulate. So yeah, 35 days is not abnormal nor is it too long for a menstrual cycle.
Like other PPs have said, if your period isn't due for another 2 weeks then no, you're not pregnant. It also sounds like you haven't ovulated yet (or will soon); too hard to tell based on what you've told us.
Aside from charting I suggest you use OPKs. They'll help you determine when you have an LH surge which in turn will hopefully indicate ovulation within 12-48 hours (along with temping).
Good luck.
A. Your cycles now may be completely different than your pre-BCP cycles, PMS symptoms included.
B. I don't see definitive evidence (because of missing data) that you've ovulated yet.
