CD1 and thinking of finding a new doctor (update)

I felt very on my own on the first round of Clomid, so I'm going to try and get ahold of my doctor (who I'm sure is on vacation) and push for a more monitored cycle next cycle. So unless by some miracle I get a hold of him and he agrees, I'll be on my own this cycle. I'm nestling if for a long stay with cycle 6.
ETA - I just got off the phone with the nurse. She wants me to come in for a clomid check on Friday to make sure nothing is swollen and everything still looks OK in there. If all is well we are uping my Clomid dose. She said I am welcome to go in anytime after O to get my progesterone levels tested and verify that I O'd. If all goes well I'll be starting 100mg of Clomid on Monday. She said if we have LP issues again on this cycle we will start looking into other alternatives. Fingers crossed for a Christmas BFP!!

I agree with jesselayne. Sheesh. I can't believe it's CD1 for you, I really would have bet on your chart-I know, this doesn't help. I'm glad you had a pretty normal cycle finally, and I hope you can enjoy lots of good wine tomorrow with family.
Destined-crap!! I'm sorry about yours too-what is going on around here? This sucks, and I really wish there was something I could say to cheer you guys up.

Thanks cat! I'm sure my doctor will work with me, my friend who saw him said he is a great guy, I just have to get through his darn nurse and get to him directly.

I'm pretty optimistic my doctor will work with me, but my cousin has already given me the name of the place she went when she was having troubles, so if he won't work with me I'll be giving my insurance a call to see if they will cover this other clinic.

My doctor said he wants to make sure my ovaries are OK for another cycle before he starts me on the Clomid again.
