Supply ? With feverish BF baby

in Parenting after a Loss
DS has had a fever for two days & he is not nursing well. Just 5 minutes at a time. I am a little concerned about my supply taking a dive. Should I try to pump? or not worry about it. Pumping would mean leaving him to cry while I pump since I have been holding him almost nonstop for 24 hours

    How often is he nursing?  If he's doing little bits often I wouldn't worry about it.  Hold your poor little sickie.

    Not often enough. Every three to four hours he will nurse 5-10 minutes. He looks bright eyed now I think he may be coming back.

    I think I was told 7-8 sessions a day will keep your supply up even if they're short.  Hopefully he's on the mend and the worry will be for nothing.  Poor little guy!
