Movember in the US?

Hi Ladies!

This may have been posted previously but the search function doesnt work for me.

So I was just reading Jelliebean's BFP post and noticed that her DH and friends dont shave their beards for the month of November and she found it odd.

Here in Canada we have whats called Movember, where men grow funny moustaches all month and raise money for Prostate Cancer.  They even have names, like the Victor Newman, etc.

I think it may have JUST been kicked off in the states this year so I was wondering if anyones DH is participating.  My DH is and he looks like a deputy from some little town in the southern states! LOL!

    Not the mustcaches but my DH and his friends are doing the no haircut in November thing. DH has a massive amount of hair on his head and its curly so it's looking awesomely bad right now. Can't wait for December!

    I've never head of Movember. That's nice that it is to raise money for a good cause, though!

    My husband is in the Air Force, and they do Moustache March and I hate it!

    Dh has a bunch of friends who are not shaving at all during the month of November.  I was commenting on one friends photos because his two week without shaving photo was about what DH has after 5 days =P

    My husband is doing Movember, and it looks like a rat died on his face.

    Seriously, how am I supposed to make a baby during Movember?

    hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahha!!!

    He threatened to leave it past Movember...so I threatened to let mine grow in if he didnt shave it on November 30th! (Im Eastern European...Id give your DHs dead rat a run for its money!!! LOL!)
