OK, I know there has been lots of convos about OPKs and I'm sure this question is more than dumb, but please help me out ![]()
So I've started with OPKs for the first time this month. Based on my cycle lengths etc last Friday was the best day to start testing. Now of course I know that that doesn't mean anything and I may have to keep testing for another week or however long until I O.
But, and here is my dumb question: Shouldn't there be at least a faint result line? On one or two occasions the result line didn't show up at all???
I'm using the Clearblue OPK.
TIA and please don't laugh at me ![]()
Re: OPK Question
Thanks, ok, that makes me feel better. I do get the control line but the result line didn't show up.... I guess I'll keep testing..
It's not a digital one... And I may be saying it wrong.. but the one line you compare your result to does show up, what doesn't is the actual result of my urine test. But I guess that can happen.
Do you test twice a day as well? Per my OPK I can test only once a day and just pick the same time of the day, so that's what I've been doing...
Thanks for the tip!!
The digital ones and the analog (?) ones are NOT the same - the analog ones do not always have a result line - they are only defective if there's no control line.
Don't ever try to manually read a pee-stick for the CBEFM - they aren't meant to be read visually - there's some mysterious magical computer thing that the machine does, but the sticks will always have two lines - you just can't "read" them with your eyes the way you could with the regular kind.
