  What do you need a template for?  Just write "thank you for the thoughtful gift of money for DD's baptism.  We plan to add it to her savings account (or whatever)."

  I always stuggle with the wording of "gift of money" and just was looking for suggestions...

  I would say something like "thank you for your generous gift"  I don't think you necessarily need to include the word money.
