Star21Gazer - Huntsville school question

Hey, I was hoping you could give me your opinion on another school zone :)  My DH has been in Huntsville for about a month now working while we are trying to sell our house.  He has been cruising the area looking at homes and we have found a neighborhood that we really like, but I'm super nervous that the schools are going to suck!

 What do you know about Central Elementary, Central Middle, and Madison County High?  The homes are in Huntsville, but on the east side of the city near Monte Santo State Park.  I really appreciate your help!

    Central just happens to be the school my sister in law is an assistant principal at Big Smile  My niece is in Kindergarten there.  Don't let the fact that it is a really old building deter you though...the teachers are awesome and I think they have a pretty decent ratio for students to teachers. 

    I don't know much about Madison Cty High though...my niece will end up at Buckhorn because that is where my brother coaches and teaches and in Madison Cty school system if you work for the system your child can attend any of the schools in that system.  But overall Madison Cty school system is one of the best around here so I would say that Madison Cty High School is probably just fine :)
