Intro and question about posting

Hello ladies!

We are TTC#2. I have a little girl who is 9 months old. I basically live on the bump, staking my name as "the best lurker ever"! I've been lurking, and somewhat posting, for over a year now. Excited to be back on the TTGP board. I started charting again this month after going off BCP. I learned so much from you ladies. The first month that I charted and used OPKs, we were blessed and got pregnant, so there is truth to learning and understanding your cycles I have a bicornuate uterus, so had a rough pregnancy, but praying we'll be able to conceive again.

Quick question on posting. I would like to respond to posts more often, I just find it difficult to go into each post "I'm watching" and keep refreshing to see if there is any new responses, and then responding, etc. I belong to a Yahoo Group and whenever someone responds I get an e-mail, so it's easier to keep up. Am I missing the boat on that here, or is that how it works?

I can't say that I've ever used the I'm Watching feature. I just keep the page open and refresh.

No, I don't think there is anything that alerts you.

You just have to do it the manual way!

Glad to have you join us, your LO is adorable. Hope your stay here is short and sweet. As far as responses, i have the same issue i'm not getting an e-mail. However, there is a tab on the lower left hand side that is Threads I'm Watching. HOpe that helps!

Nope...nothing is easy here. lol. You can sort the responses from newest to oldest response within the post, and can sort the board by most recent response as opposed to newest thread, but that's about it unless someone has a secret I'm unaware of.

This board isn't run like most other forums are. You just have to keep refreshing and clicking onto the "threads i'm watching" link like PPs said. Good luck!

Awesome find on the "viewing preferences" at the bottom of the page. I just changed mine to get e-mails when there are new posts on this board. Hopefully that will do something. Now, watch, I'll have 300 e-mails in my inbox in 5 minutes Indifferent
