Thanksgiving is a few days away and I'm sure most of you are either not working, or wish you weren't. So let's do a little poll...

1. What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Sweet Potatoes! The kind with golden brown toasted marshmallows on top, yummmm
2. Favorite dessert? Warm pumpkin pie (not much of a fan of it cold though). Love it with a little scoop of vanilla ice cream & some whipped cream
3. What do you usually do after dinner?
We al sit around the table talking usually. Eventually people migrate to another room
4. Does your LO have a special T-day outfit? If so post pictures. Right now, no. He's growing so fast though that he might need to wear the outfit I got him for Christmas just so it gets worn once (cute lil "suit" with a green shirt, green & black tie & vest).
5. Share any updates or photos of your belly or LO you may have Nothing much this week. He had a little cold (cold #3, ugh). It's been a rough several days because of it. He wakes up once or twice a night & I'm pretty sure it's because of his stuffy nose
But, he's starting to clear up so hopefully he'll be getting his much needed rest!

Stuffing, gravy, sweet potatoes

Pumpkin pie! I'm making one to bring to the ILs...a little nervous since this is my first attempt!
3. What do you usually do after dinner?
Look at the black Friday ads and make our plan to shop in the morning!

I attempted to get a picture of him wearing it this weekend and he was not interested. But he is wearing this during the day:
And a button down shirt, sweater and khakis for dinner.
He also has a bib that says "I'm stuffed!" but I can't find the exact pic online. It is too cute though.

I wish this was a better picture, but he had some major Conan O'Brien hair going on last night. (And was quite unhappy with me taking his picture, lol!)

I had an outfit I bought for her school pictures that I forgot to put on her, so she'll probably wear that.

I'm still waiting on our school photos. Hopefully they come today... Here is the picture I took at home the day of her school pictures.

1. What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Love my dads sweet potato casserole with brown sugar, marshmellows and rasins
2. Favorite dessert? I can never decided between pumpkin pie with cool whip and apple with vanilla ice cream, I always have a little sliver of both
3. What do you usually do after dinner?
go to the other house (either my family or DH's) for dessert

I don't have anything specific in mind, but my step-sister got John a bunch of name brand (like DKNY, Polo, Timberland, really the kid has nicer stuff than his parents) stuff like button down shirts, sweaters, khakis so I'll just pick something cute.
5. Share any updates or photos of your belly or LO you may have... Not too much new, we finally got around to John's baptism 2 weekends ago, he was really well behaved and loved all the attention
1. My favortie t-day food is stuffing!!! Yum, I can't wait.
2. Fav dessert - I'm not too picky, I really like all desserts.
3. We sit around and chat after dinner. We eat late, so there isn't much time afterwards.
4. I got her a Gymboree dress for the fall, nothing specifically for T-day though.
5. I'm putting a new photo in my siggy, I just have to actually do it.
1. What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? My mom makes a replica of Ruth Chris's Sweet Potato Casserole...omg so good.
2. Favorite dessert? Paula Deen's Bourbon Pecan Pie- I get requests for this all the time from work friends and relatives.
3. What do you usually do after dinner? Well now it's been to stare at Josie, but typically it was ploping on the couch and catching up on Tivo.
4. Does your LO have a special T-day outfit? If so post pictures. She has a 1st T-day onesie and bib and brown pants. I'll post pictures Friday because it's too much of a pain to change her!

Josie is one week old today! I am so happy to finally have weaned her from the nipple shield (three feedings without it today) and she is such a great eater. I am so happy it's one less thing to worry about right now.

DH's work got her this nice Vermont Teddy Bear, super cute!

Just her normal silly self - I sent invites out to her little friends for her birthday party next month - she knows its a party. ... so I hope she'll get that its for her, but we'll see.

3. What do you usually do after dinner? Chat, clean up, lay on sofa. LOL!

Annabelle is home sick with a fever. Although she is eating and taking milk. I'm not sure the doctor can do very much for us, just keep giving her meds and keeping her hydrated.

4. Does your LO have a special T-day outfit? If so post pictures. Nothing themed, but she will have on a skirt for the first time with tights and a cardigan.

She went from army crawling the past few weeks to pulling to a sit and now stand and now she cautiously puts out a foot to cruise and tries to move but really goes no where. She is also getting her two top teeth soon.
1. What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Mashed potatoes and gravy!
2. Favorite dessert? I actually don't love any of the standard Thanksgiving desserts. I'd rather have some dinner leftovers
3. What do you usually do after dinner? Moan about having eaten too much and play games with the family.

She wanted to know who the baby was in a birthday invitation on our fridge the other day, and I pointed to his name and asked what letter it began with. She said D, and when I asked her who we knew with a D sound at the beginning of their name, she could name Daniel, my godson. It's small, but I was proud
