Did any of you notice weeks even months after delivery, that you had HUGE ridges in your finger nails from the pressure?

I certain have - it is just so odd.

    Sorry to hear that is happening to you! My pressure still is out of control even on meds! Went back up again last night! ERG! But ive never noticed or heard of the ridges!

    MamaLBF, what have your pressures been?  The meds have all made me so weak that I was worried about dropping my daughter.  So I asked to be taken off of the meds.  Oh and the leg swelling was also bad.

    Since I'm a BFing mom, there were only certain meds I could take to begin with.  My pressures have since leveled out and once I'm done BFing then we will re-address the BP issue.

    I hope they level off for you soon and out of the danger zone.

    Im not quite sure whats going on with me. Its one thing after the next. Right now my pressure with meds will be 115/70 range. Then last night outta the blue it was 160/110. WTHECK!!! Same last week. I have 5 days no problems then I started to feel funny and it was up again! I had well controlled high blood pressure before Luke, then got pre E and it went up to 200/120 range for days while they figured out the right meds. Then I came home after 11 days in the hospital. Had three good weeks then all this odd stuff happened. I got admitted for 3 days to the hospital- I was having severe side effects from my meds-Lebtalol and Hydralazine. So im back on my old meds. Its been pretty good but it just spikes up every now and then for no reason! Thats my story! Thank you for your relpy! Im sorry to hear you had so many problems and I hope everything stays really good for you!

    I did notice it too for me at least.  Hope things get better for you two soon.  It took awhile for my blood pressure to regulate back to normal, hang in there.

    Yes..thought it was due to the magnesium IV I was on for 5 days. but never thought it was actually my pressure.
