I know this has already been addressed but (1) I'm just catching up on it and (2) I think it deserves to be addressed again to show just how hurtful it is .... and to so many of us.

The TTGP Post Secret re: the regs and our broken bodies is extremely hurtful. What kind of human being are you? You obviously have no idea what I have gone through. This journey is extremely painful and I get through it with the help of the girls on this board. And if the board was all those 'just' starting to try - where would the advice come from??? Myths would overrun the place. I truly hope you have your 'short stay' because the likes of you are not appreciated here.

And for those running the TTGP Post Secret ---- this site is nothing but cyber bullying and some posts are threatening (ie. the post alluding to 'you'll get yours'). A site promoting hate and cyber bullying is definitely walking a fine line in terms of legality. I would be careful.

I did not see the original post, but I was horrified yesterday when I read what some people have said. I am just starting TTGP but I can't imagine why anyone would say something so hurtful as to call people broken. That is just ignorance. And I can't imagine WHY ANYONE would want those who have been trying for awhile to leave the message board. Isn't it here for support and advice? Thinking about what I've gotten from it in the past few days I can imagine how important it is to others.

There are 2 ways to respond to a bully, you can ignore them and hope they go away or you can stand up to them. Don't chastise those who choose to stand up to the bullies. I think it's important for them to know that what they are saying is hurtful, and it's empowering to those who have been attacked to know that the opinions on PS are not those of the majority on TTGP.

This. What they post is hurtful and disgusting and NOT the opinion shared by most. The best way to make them stop is to ignore them, but I just don't see that happening anytime soon and I completely understand wanting to tell them how you feel.

I really am sorry, OP, that there are people out there in the world that would ever say that. Trash, trash, trash...

I hear ya girl but I just have to say I don't give a shiit where people think I should post, it is a public board and I will post where the eff I want. Some cowards out there may think I'm bitter, broken, etc but they can kiss my fat ass. Really though, if you think this board is just for people who are expecting a short stay, I really hope karma doesn't bite you in the ass for that since we ALL thought it would be a short stay when we started. Its not like we're purposely not getting pg just so we can hang out on TTGP.

I think there is a difference between IRL bullies and anonymous internet bullies. What does this person have to fear from anybody standing up to her? She knows it's hurtful. That's why she's doing it. You're not going to change her. Let's just bore her to death.

ETA: Also, please don't think I'm "chastising" anybody. I haven't taken anybody to be chastising. I just hate the fact that the PS posts get more traffic than almost any other posts here, besides BFPs. That's not right. Let's focus our energy on actually helping each other, getting to know each other, and building relationships. Not b!tching about drama. It only perpetuates more drama and hurt feelings.

I'm curious about what makes you an expert on what the PS moderator is thinking?

I honestly believe that people have a right to say something if they feel attacked and since the people posting these hurtful things are too chicken-shiit to attach their name to them, the only way to address it is on the board. Don't take away the voice of those who feel attacked. Let them feel heard. Telling them to roll over and take it is not right.

If you have never posted a secret and you have never been attacked on a PS, then ignore the threads, because they don't apply to you.

Simple as that.

I've only posted in this post and one other from last night. I usually do ignore the PS posts, and will continue to do so from now on. I understand what the victims of the PS feel, I really do. And I agree with everything you guys have said. I just think it's doing more harm then good to keep posting about it. Just my opinion. I didn't want to give the impression that anybody's feelings are not justified or warranted. Carry on.

Amen! I think it is more sad than anything. I honestly NEVER go to that site just because of all negativity and I don't need that garbage in my life, but when I do see it (like when it's brought here) it just makes everyone upset.

To me, that post that everyone is talking about makes me feel bad for all of us who are having issues because not only do we have to deal with the heartache and stress of IF, we have to hear that crap.

I dunno about you but it makes me want to post more about my IF journey ::insert evil laugh::

I think I'm getting so upset about it because I do feel like my body is broken ...all ... the ... time. Having it thrown in my face is extremely hurtful and I hope the person who wrote it has even the slightest realization how awful it really was.

I never read the secrets until someone informed me there were a couple of nice ones about me. (Those I like Wink )

What bugs me is that I was a fan of the real PostSecret for years (I rarely read it any more). That site is a place for people to confess their own insecurities and fears and anonymously admit to things they are ashamed about, and the people who read the secrets are very supportive of each other.

It is a serious contrast to the spirit of the TTGP Postsecret site, which is 99% spiteful and hurtful. It really makes me question the maturity of some people on this board and what they will teach their children.

Report it to blogger, often and repeatedly. They have a decent reputation as a blog host. They don't want that trash on their site.
