Hi all! First month trying...we are so full of excitement and are really looking forward to this whole process. We are now post ovulation (even though my ticker is messed up). We had been charting BBT as part of NFP for awhile and have finally decided that we are ready to try. Anyway...this time between ovulating and waiting to see if it worked it so frustrating. How do you stay patient? I know its rare to achieve on the first try, but I'm definitely going to need some advice over these next months of waiting...thanks everyone!

"There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the beginning.
I've yet to figure that out. I'm on cycle #6, and while some days I will be calm and not think about it too much, most days I'm completely obsessed!
How do I stay patient? I overwhelm myself with work to do so I don't think about it. It's hard, but that's the best way I can keep my mind from obsessing about it every minute.
DS born via unplanned C-section at 40w6d
Name of the game, right?
I pass time by spending HUGE amounts of my day lurking on the bump
Cycle three should be winding down soon... and amazingly I have managed to wait until testing on 14 DPO both cycles. Patience is not usually my strong suit, its surprising I have this kind of self-control. Partially by lying to myself about phantom symptoms and partially by not having any tests around
thanks for posting this question - I'm finding it hard to concentrate on anything BUT the fact that we're TTC.
Cycle #1 and the 2WW are absolute torture! I wish your nipples turned green or something the moment you got KU so you knew right away!
