Moms + Facebook + Pregnancy = oh my...

So my best friend just found out she is KU. Since she just got her BFP five days ago, she was going to wait until after her doctor's appointment next week to tell everyone (besides a select few). Well, this morning she texted me that the news had "leaked" onto the facebook world but she couldn't figure out why. Knowing her mom, I decided to take a peak on her facebook page and, holy crap, she had announced her daughter's pregnancy in her status! So I sent her a text back telling her she might want to check her mom's page and she replied with "OH NO SHE DID NOT!!!"
We ended up laughing hysterically about this, but I just wanted to warn you all that if your parents/aunts/uncles/grandparents have a facebook account, they may not understand the importance and significance of making things "facebook official."
I figured I'd take this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful, happy, and very-baby-makin' Thanksgiving! I know am thankful for all of you.

Exactly why we didn't tell our parents (or really anyone) when I was pregnant! Nothing in life is a secret with Facebook around.
She is taking it alot better then me! I would have killed my mom! lol
Wow. Talk about no common sense! I can't believe someone would even do that!
That said, my mom has the biggest mouth EVER and doesn't need FB to announce anything to the world. Lucky for me, I inherited that and will tell everybody right away anyway, so there won't be time to ruin any announcements...
