f/u Spotting

Thanks for all of your kind words.

I went to the OB and they did a u/s but couldn't really give me an answer. Their u/s machine is very old and low quality (they outsource the important ones) so they saw a sac but couldn't see anything else. At 6w3d they should be able to see an hb but with that machine who knows. I had a beta drawn and will have to go to the hospital to have another one done on Thursday (Happy Thanksgiving). The fact that I'm not having any cramping is good. Despite that I don't have a good feeling about this.

I'm hopeful but not optimistic.

    With Sydney, we saw a sac, but no hb at 5 weeks/4 days. Waited two weeks and saw a hb at 7 weeks/4 days. Six(ish) weeks is still iffy to see the hb.

    Keep that hopeful feeling. Fingers crossed that this works out and your little bean is just fine.

    Laura - I didn't even know you got a BFP!  See...I go away for a few weeks and all hell breaks loose!!   Congrats!   You guys work fast! Wink

    And keep your chin up and your thoughts positive...it is not uncommon at all to not see the HB that early.   I will say a quick prayer for you guys!

    It's so nerve-wracking.  They couldn't find a hb or adequate growth on Margaux at 7 weeks, they were ready to advise a D&C.  Sometimes it's all just a bit slower than expected.

    Crossing all appendages!

    Keep thinking positive thoughts.  Here's hoping the betas keeping going good!

     And darn them - remind the doctor that every patient is important.  They need to have a quality maching in house.
