9 mo and no teeth.. anyone else have a late teether?

Not that I'm complaining or anything - we still nurse at least 5 times a day so lots of teeth would be less than fun. But dd still doesn't have any teeth, and nothing looks super-close to the surface.

Anyway, does anyone else have a late teether? If so, when did they get teeth, and how quickly did they come in? Please tell me she won't just wake up with 10 teeth one day soon Smile

  • Margaux got her first fang at about 11 and a half months, and now has 4 teeth total.  We think she's working on another...

  • I don't have one, but I was one. Apparently I didn't get my first tooth until I was well after one.
  • D was 10.5 months when her first one came. She now has four (her last one came last week).

  • Fiona's first tooth came through at 11.5 months. After that they popped up at a pretty good pace. She has a mouth full now.

I also got my first tooth late...after I turned 1, so I figured Fiona would be late with hers as well.

  • sabrina got her first two teeth at the same time (bottom front) at 9m4d. nothing since.

  • Gracie didn't get her 1st tooth until 8 months. She now has two and the top front one has finally pushed through. So, at 11 months she only has 3.  I think the others are close behind.

  • S's first tooth came in at 10 months.....and now they are popping in one right after the other.  We are now up to 4 teeth and we think a 5th one is coming through.  While I'd like for them to come in soon, one right after the other is really making for an unhappy baby.
  • L had no teeth three weeks ago and today he has four and one more about to pop through! It's been a looooong three weeks!
