job vibes please!

i'm still at my current job. I've cleaned out my desk and taken all but the essential personal items home (tissue, coffee cup warmer - very necessary!). as far as i know, even management doesn't know for sure what's happening. If we're taken over, it would be on a Friday, but my boss was saying it could even be tomorrow if they want to do it before the long holiday weekend.

anyway.......

i applied for a software support technician job back on Nov 5 and just got an email yesterday that they want to do a phone interview on Monday! eek! this job would be so much closer to home and in the same town that Jeff works in and Gavin goes to daycare. it's for a company that makes software for event management, catering, dining reservations and table management for restaurants, wineries, hotels, etc.

need those vibes girls! I do NOT want to have to deal with filing for unemployment.
