Perhaps this is a stupid question...but I'll ask anyway. I just finished up my last pack of BCP late September. Do I start counting cycles at that period immediately following (when still on sugar pills)? Or the next?

    I'm not exactly sure what you're asking as far as "counting cycles"  But day one of red flow is CD1 whether you're on the pill or not and it's certainly possible to get KU right after coming off the pill.  Most people's cycles take more time than that to regulate but if you're talking about tracking the # of cycles it takes you to concive then I guess cycle #1 would be the first you're off BCP.  I don't count sugar pills as BCP because they're just placebos (sp?).  GL!

    I did mean # of cycles (sorry for lack of clarity). You just confirmed everything that I thought, too - thanks so much! I just wanted to be sure I'm clear with my CNM about how long we've been trying when I next speak with her. Even more so, because I went right back to a clockwork cycle off pills.
