I have thought twice now that I knew for sure what stroller I was going to buy. Now I have no clue. I am so confused after reading all of the reviews of different strollers.
If you are a second time mom and love your stroller or have any input, or if you are sure what stroller you are getting and want to tell me why, please tell me!!!!! Please. I have to figure this out soon, so it can be there waiting for me to pick up in December.
TIA
Edit: I should also add. I am looking at a full size stroller. I have no car and it will be my primary means of transportation for the baby. I am willing to spend over $1000 if necessary. Thanks!

Still less than I spent on my car.
A good stroller takes on much greater importance when it needs to go many miles over many years.

We have an UppaBaby Vista, and will be getting it fitted for the Rumble Seat to make it a double.
There is nothing to say but great things about that stroller, and the 2011 version is even better yet. I have zero regrets about it at all, and you get a lot for your money. I recommend it to everyone.
Before we bought ours, I googled UppaBaby Vista Reviews, etc., and read blog entries, magazine reviews, etc,. and that helped me decide. But the real interest piqued when we saw one in person, and nothing else ever compared.
Here's a good example...and some of the reviews compare it to the pricier Bugaboo, which might also help the pp.

I don't know a specific brand or style to suggest for where you live, but here are many things to consider if your stroller is going to be your main source of mobility.
How heavy is the stroller? Would you be able to manuver it up and down stairs if necessary? Is it easy to fold up and store?
How long will it fit your child? If you are willing to make the $$ investment, make sure it will last you a long time. Durable materials that are easy to wash, weight maxiumums 50+ pounds, various seating positions, sturdy wheels for various terain, are all valuable in a stroller.
Will your baby be comfortable? Does the sun shade really provide good coverage? Would the baby be able to sleep in a reclined position? What kind of straps does it have? Is the seat cover made of cotton or something that would cause child to overheat?
Also consider your comfort. Are the handles to high or low causing you to slouch or arm aches? Will it hold a diaper bag, a drink for you, etc.
I know this will be a lot to think about but it is worth it to find the stoller right for you and baby.
I bought the EasyWalker Qtro. https://www.easywalker.nl/usa/qtro.html
I was between it and the Baby Jogger Elite. Both are around the $500-$600 mark (in Canada anyway) for the stroller, not including any accessories. I thought forsure I wanted a 3 wheeler Jogger, but when I tried it in the store I didn't find it as stable as an all terrain stroller. I also liked the bassinet option for it (although it's a $200 option).
We went to a few stroller stores and got a few different "professional" opinions. But nothing really mattered other than pushing it around. The store we bought ours at had a small "mountain" behind the store so we could try out all the different strollers.
Edit: I just wanted to add some features that were important to me too. The storage on the BabyJogger was crappy. You could barely get to it, and I am a big shopper, so that is important to me. I also wanted a stroller that had many different levels of recline, including straight back. Also, an adjustable footrest was important to me. And having a little peep hole in the top shade.
I love my Bumbleride Indie.
It is compatible with my infant seat (Chicco Keyfit 30), although the 2010 is no longer compatible with the Chicco, has a fairly small compact fold and has all-terrain tires that will go anywhere (sidewalks, grass, gravel). The handle is easily adjustible for taller or shorter people and it's worked well from the time he was a newborn until now.
We ordered the Uppa Baby Visit - online deal for $575 - they are normally around $670 but it comes standard with the bassinet and toddler seat (which is reclinable in three different positions) and you can put either facing you or outward. The frame is awesome, the wheels won't go flat and it's all-terain so it's great for somebody who will be traveling a lot, it has a HUGE basket for storrage, the rain guard, SPF sun guard, and this bug net thing if you like the outdoors.
We bought the 2010 model on-sale based on somebody on this board's rec and I decided to just go for it after looking at reviews and on-line demos via youtube. I had not seen it in person but I'm very happy we jumped and got it. There is no difference between the 2010 and 2011 per Uppa Baby website except for different color options, so if you can find a 2010 for a deal it's worth it unless you have your heart set on the new colors.
YOU ROCK! Thanks
Now I might be able to convince some family to help me get a stroller I WANT! I see these everywhere but hadn't noticed the brand. THANKS!!!!
Thank you all. Sorry for posting and running but I have people coming from out of town tomorrow and I was trying to get their room set up.
Well, the option of buying while I am in the US is there but it kind of stresses me out. I want to look at the strollers here in person next week. The train tracks to the city were under construction last week and it was really annoying to get there so I waited. So yes, I will be seeing them in person.
And tokenhoser is totally right. I want something that's going to be able to be used to death. I walk everywhere so it really has to be a quality product, hence willing to spend a good chunk of change on it.
I have been looking at the UppaBaby Vista, the Bugaboo Chameleon and the Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle mainly, but I wanted some other suggestions to check out and you all gave that to me! Thanks.

I just opened this link and realized right away that I read these all this morning. Thank you, though. It is a good source.

I have absolutely no input here...but needed to tell you that I am insanely jealous that you live somewhere where walking everywhere is feasible! Around here...not going to happen.
Good luck on the stroller hunt!
I feel like I"m going to get a rude awakening for the decision to wait to make all these decisions, because I just can't possibly think of making them right now. But I'll agree that your situation is precarious, especially given the fact that you want to buy them in the US.
I wish you well!
And you were paged yesterday on F&B!
