If my previous post offended anyone. I posted a small intro a week ago, but feel like I need to re-introduce myself because it appears that I am getting off on the wrong foot here. I'm 25 and live in Atlanta. DH works in youth ministry and I am the special events coordinator for a Children's hospital. We just started trying after 3 yrs of marriage and I haven't mentioned this to friends IRL, so I was hoping to interact with people on here.

    Welcome.  I must have missed your first introduction.  Give it time here and you will get some of the frustrations on this board.  Thanks for re-introducing yourself.

    TTC Journey:
    Me: Dx stage I endometriosis DH: minimal MFI - 3% morph
    IUI #1 - cycle converted to IVF #1 due overproduction of follies.
    BFP - m/c :(
    IVF #2 (finally) - Lupron + FSH + Ovidrel + Crinone = 10 eggs retrieved, Two grade A embryos transferred, 3 frosties!
    BFP - Beta #1 39.4 Beta #2 22 = c/p :(

    Clemsonbride, there is no need to apologize. It sounds like everything is fine from what I read from other posters. The longer you are here the more you will learn, and if you are here long enough, which I hope you aren't (there is the short and sweet part) you will find that the longer you TTC, and the more let downs you get because of it, the more annoyed you will become of someone who you have no idea who they are because you have NEVER seen them post before, just pops in to say that they are PG and then runs out.

    It is like wanting that one Car, a corvette, camaro...something...wanting it really really bad for years and years, and they up out of no where your best friend shows up with one, the exact one you wanted, and rubs it in your face. I'm sure you can draw a relation to that.

    I look forward to learning more about you and helping you through your TTC questions, struggles and vents. Keep your chin up and keep on truckin'! We are all in this together! Wink

    Welcome! I don't think you are a stranger, and I don't think you need to apologize. When I first lurked here I was a little intimidated by randoms getting flamed, until I hung out and realized what is going on. Don't take it personally, we've all had posts that on second thought we may not have made, but I wouldn't worry about it. GL and stick around!

    Welcome! Im new as well. I started off on the really wrong foot asking Qs about symptoms and got the man fishing! LOL. Learned my lesson. I didnt see or read the newbie link when I first got here. All that is under my belt now.

    I don't think you said anything that required an apology. I kind of agree because if you make an intro and get KU within that cycle, you'd have to be in the majority of the posts for people to "know you." Then again, I don't open most BFP posts unless it's a name that I recognize.

    Welcome. I'm new too and have read some post replies that I found snippy, but I am realizing that since this is such an emotional process, there is a lot of frustration and sometimes disappointment that people express in different ways and you can't take it personally.  I just learned that last night from a post I replied to...Good luck to you!

     Thank you! I really love my job. I plan the hospital activities and VIP visits. I also manage a radio station that Ryan Seacrest just opened in our hospital. Seeing sick kids everyday makes me even more of a nervous wreck during this whole TTC process.

    I work in disability services at a college, and it can be very unnerving to see what some of the students and their parents go through. I got to see a lot of what goes on in children's hospitals when my friend's daughter was sick several years ago (she's doing great now!) and I love event planning - so that sounds amazing!

    I agree that an apology was unnecessary, but I think it is sweet that you are trying to make peace.

    Welcome and try not to take things to heart. As I said yesterday (I think?), this board is full of personalities and not everyone is going to get along, which is the truth in pretty much anywhere you go.

    You will find great advice, fabulous senses of humor, a bit of snark, and as much support as you give back to others. GL to you Smile
