DS has been twice in his 7 1/2 months on this earth! I was really hesitant and so emotional over it but I was much happier once I had it done. My stylist has just squeezed him in both times when I've been going myself. I hold him while she cuts. We found that clippers are most helpful with him being so little.
I trim her bangs and just last night I trimmed up the back because the center was a little longer than the sides. Just make sure to give her something to keep her attention.
I made sure to always have my hand between her skin and the scissors like in the picture.
We haven't cut DD's yet. I can't bring myself to do it. I just love the faux hawk too much, and it's such a crowd pleaser whenever we're out in public. I was planning to wait until she was at least 1 year old, but if it's getting in her eyes or gets really unmanageable, I might consider doing it sooner. If it's just a matter of bangs, I might do it myself, but if more than that, I probably will take her to a salon for kids.

My DH is dying for us to cut DS's hair. It is growing over his ears a little, but I can't do it yet.
Happy Birthday, little man. We love you so much!

We had DS's haircut a couple of months ago when he was 4 months old. He needs another one already! It's growing over his ears.
DD has her first haircut when she was 2 months old. I guess my kids just have a lot of hair
I just took them with me when I got my haircut and let my stylist know in advance that I was going to bring them.
DD is now 2 so I'll probably start taking her to a kiddie haircut place that will be more fun for her.
Remember to take lots of pictures!

I was told when DD was little not to cut her hair until she was 2, so we waited until then.
With DS he is gonna need it soon because it is curling over his ears and DH thinks he looks girly.
