Even if it was a simple one, I'm amazed I actually finished it
I made a library book bag for Olivia. The square in the upper corner is for her library card. I'm going to redo it with thicker felt and add a velcro fastener. It's hard to see, but it even has a little plastic cover for the window.
She loves to carry it around and take her books in and out of it. These are horrible pictures, but she wouldn't stop moving at the book sale for me to get a good one of her....
Re: i actually finished a craft project!
I love that!
Dumb question alert from the least crafty person on the board: if you sew the letters on, is there a particular kind of need and thread you use?
If you don't sew them, what kind of adhesive works best?
I use embroidery floss for almost everything, but I'm not 100% sure what kind of needle I use. It's larger than a regular sewing needle, but it's not so huge that it leaves holes in the felt. Specific, eh?
Sure thing! It was really so, so easy. I bought the bag at Hobby Lobby (~2), then used felt I already had. I have those gel cling things on the window for O to play with and the sheet that they came on was perfect for the plastic window.
LOVE! So cute!!
