need some hope, how long did your first period take??

Hi Girls,

I am anxiously awaiting to join this board. I found out I had a blighted ovum at almost twelve weeks and had my d&c on 10/27, so today is my 27th day post d&c.

I am so anxiously awaiting be able to join this board!!!

Do you think you girls could tell me how long it took you to get your period either after natural miscarriage or d&c. I would love to hear everyone's experience.

Thanks so so much, i am so truly sorry for all of your losses and I'm wishing everyone an absolute perfect pregnancy for the next time!!!

    I had a D&E.  It took 35 days for my 1st AF to arrive, and 30 days for my 2nd to arrive. 

    My 2nd AF arrived 3 days ago, so have now been cleared to TTC again Big Smile

    35 days after my D&E for me too. I am so sorry for your loss. Come on over now, you don't have to be actively TTCAL to join in :)

    Exactly 5 weeks and she came back REALLY pissed off! In the last 2 days I have destroyed 2 pairs of underwear, 1 pair of jeans, 1 pair of pajama pants and 1 fitted bedsheet! My husband is afraid of me right now and thinking I may die of blood loss. I send you TONS of AF DUST!!!!! ********

    I'm very sorry for your loss.

    I had a complete and natural m/c and it took exactly 7 weeks for AF to show up.

    I had a natural miscarriage at 11 weeks 3 days. My first AF was on day 35. I am on day 27 of my second cycle and feel like AF is on its way.

    It took 30 days for my first AF to arrive after my d&c and 25 days for my 2nd AF to arrive.  I'm so sorry for your loss and I hope AF arrives soon!

    It took exactly 35 days after my D&E for AF arrive (and boy did she ever!)

    It took me 57 days and a round of Provera.  I very much hope your body is more cooperative than mine is!

    Sorry for your loss!  The waiting period for the first AF can be tough.  It took about 6 weeks after each loss (both a natural m/c and a D&C).  AF after the D&C was definitely heavier than before.

    It took 43 days for AF to arrive the first time and 30 days for the second cycle.  Pretty heavy flow both times.

    BFP#1: 7/14/10.  EDD: 3/19/11--MMC-- D&C 9/2/10.

    AF didn't come for me after my D&C for a little over 6 wks. I think every person is different but that was the case with me. So sorry for your loss and hope AF heads your way and not mine. ;)

    I'm sad to hear about your loss.  I was on this board for about 3 months while TTA after my D&C. 

    My doctor had to force a bleed with BCP's after about 5 weeks of no AF after a BFN.  I've never had "normal" cycles though so I'm not sure why it would resemble anything normal after a D&C.  

    Good luck and lots of AF dust headed your way!

    I am so very sorry for your loss.

    I am currently on CD62 (I believe, yikes - I've lost count at this point) and am still waiting for AF Sad I just recently finished a round of Provera to induce her, so hopefully she'll be visiting me this week.

    Sorry for your loss, and welcome...you will find all the support you need hear from these lovely ladies!

     I had a natural MC and got AF earlier than expected at 21 days after. My OBGYN anticipated it taking 6 weeks, so I guess I got lucky. I have yet to have my 2nd AF, still waiting at CD28 - 14DPO.
