  Thanks for asking, gals!

  He's okay.  Surgery was a week ago today & he's still in a lot of pain & can't eat yet.  He tried chicken with rice yesterday but it just hurt too much- so Jell-O & Ensure it is!  Obviously, he won't be eating the big feast on Thursday, which he is pretty bummed about. 

  I've been pretty stressed out over all of this, most of which is self-induced, but nonetheless.  What makes it worse is that my mom was supposed to be helping out but instead she's dealing with her DH who has an object lodged near his L4 & has been taking Vicodin for that, plus MRIs & steroid shots, so obviously she is not here helping me.  Tomorrow is the last day of work for the week- so at least I have that giong for me.

  Oh my! Poor Bart! Poor your mom's DH! And poor you! Lots of hugs! I hope this long weekend gives you some time to relax and de-stress .
