Trying to Get Pregnant

Good Morning & Re-Intro

Good Morning Ladies!  Hope everyone is doing well.

Thought I'd make a quick post to introduce myself as I only recognize a handful of people on here lately.

I used to be an active poster around here, but since losing my job in May have found it hard to do so.  I've also had some personal things to deal with but all is good now and I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things so to speak.

I am 30 years old, living in South Florida with my Husband, and 2 pups (a Puggle and a Border Collie Mix).  We have been officially trying for a year, but I am trying to remain hopeful.  I have not been charting much at all the last several months so now with this cycle I am being more dilligent about thought.  If we have to go to the next step, I am OOP so not looking forward to that at all.  Guess for now I will just keep my fingers crossed for this cycle.

I'm sure this has been done, but if you are interested...tell me a little bit about you so I can get to know everyone.  I've been lurking around consistently for the past week or so tying to get caught up.

:-)

Other than that, married in September of 2008, I am an architect and a photographer!

    GL to you!

Hi WI-Mommy-hopeful!  Excited to see someone I recognize.  :-)

:-) Sorry you are still trying, but nice to see you at the same time. How have you been???

Been busy but good.  Life for me has calmed down a lot in the last month or so which is a good thing.

Found it so much easier to be active around here when I was sitting in front of a computer, but going to make a good effort.

Hope everything is well with you.  Good Luck this cycle!  I'll be keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you.

  • Hi and welcome back. I'm a "newb." I work night shifts so I either am late to the party or miss it altogether.

Those four dogs in my siggy...all my dogs. Total gross weight of dog in my household is approximately 200lbs.

  • Welcome back!  I just started posting last week.  My DH & I are TTC - on Cycle 1 and just off BCP so I imagine I'll be hanging around here for a while.

I'm 31, DH is 33 and we live in Philly. Married in '08 and are renovating our house -- our kitchen only has lighting - no walls, no sink, no cabinets (ugh). Oh and I'm hosting Christmas dinner this year....can you sense my stress? Tongue Tied

    This!

As for me, I'm on cycle 8 (but I have short cycles - we've been TTC since May) and am looking to exit this board ASAP, though I do enjoy being here.  We're in the early stages of testing and aren't sure how much will be covered if we end up needing intervention.  So far my HSG was our biggest test, and it was 80% covered, which was nice.

    GL to you!

  • Welcome back! I started lurking in June - I'm 29, DH just turned 28. Just bought a new house, and we have one furry furbaby (see siggy). As you can see from my ticker, we're on cycle #5.

I'm a total klutz too - my mom always said she should have named me Grace Smile

  • Hi! My name is Caroline, I'm 26 years old and have a 2 year old DD. We've be TTC #2 since July/August and just got pretty serious about charting and doing all the extra stuff like pom, green tea, etc.

I was pretty lucky this time around- saw the dr in June and he gave me metformin since I rarely O on my own. I'm hoping this works quickly- I tried with my DD for over a year.

GL, I know after TTC around the year mark you can tend to get a little worried(I know I did!). I hope you get your BFP very soon!
