  I just got a bill yesterday for one my insurance didn't cover and it was $215, but I'm sure the price is different everywhere.

  I think my OB's office charges patients paying OOP around $320.  I only pay 10% of my insurance's agreed rate (usually around $13).

  Call where you are having it done- it really varies. My former ob's office charged my insurance around $800, but the second place I went to was $320- it was just a radiology place, not a dr. office.

  I got a bill from the hospital b/c I owed a $30 copay.  MIne was $1,600.

  But I had it done in the Peri-Natal dept. instead of teh regular radiology area.  That may be why it was so much.

  I could be wrong but I swear the radiology people at my hospital billed my insurance like $600 for my big U/S.

  
  DD #1 passed away in January 2011 at 14 days old due to congenital heart disease
  DD#2 lost in January 2012 at 23 weeks due to anhydramnios caused by a placental abruption

  mine was $250 out of pocket... I have a deductible which is why I had to pay for it.

  Our 18 wk ordered by the dr was $328.  I only know this because we had insurance problems and we got billed for it a few times before we were able to clear it up and make them cover it.

  Our 3d one we paid oop for and it was $175.
