I am calling in a few minutes witih the hopes of squeezing Sydney in for an appointment tonight. They eff'ed up her booster appointment. It never got put into the system and I didn't realize it. I USED to write all kinds of important things down, but since Sydney, I am SO unorganized.
I called yesterday to check since I had just gotten a flu shot and it was on my mind. Once I realized that they only had her one year appointment scheduled, I explained the situation. We were there October 14th, so we are already overdue! She tried to schedule it for December 6. I was like, "No. I am thinking we need to come in asap." Right? She told me to call this morning to see if they have any cancelations for tonight.
Wish me luck with this phone call. They are already on my sh!t list from my last appointment. This might be the straw that breaks the camels back.
Re: Annoyed at my Pedi's office.

I don't know why they can't just let you come in for a quick shot from a nurse. We were literally in and out in less than 5 minutes when I took C for her 2nd shot.
Love, love, LOVE the new pic.
Adorable pic. where did you find her shirt? and finding body parts is super-smart! go, Sydney!
We don't have to book appts for shots - they're walk-in and can happen at our convenience. With two kids and four flu shots between them, I would go crazy trying to handle booking stuff.
It sounds like your pedi office has some issues. Have you considered a move to a place that runs a little more smoothly?
Good luck today!
I don't know if I am happy we got in tonight or not. They had a cancellation at 6:30, so that's our appointment. Usually she eats at 6:15 and is in the bath by 6:45. Followed by a bottle and then bed. Our Pedi's office is twenty minutes away, so I don't even know what to do. Feed her dinner at 5:30??? Skip the bath and have her (hopefully) have a bottle if she didn't fall asleep in the car. UGH! I might call them back now and tell them to forget it and I will bring her in during the day one day later in the week.
And... (shhh!) I got her shirt at Walmart for FOUR DOLLARS
Edited to AW for a minute. She knows where her belly, belly button, head, hair, hands, knees, and feet are. Don't know if that's early or not. My MIL keeps saying how smart she is.
Yeah, I'd say that's pretty advanced knowledge. C sorta gets "nose" and grabs ours and his bears, but not his own. The rest--forget it!
But he sure as heck knows where his peepee is, even if he doesn't know the name for it.
I would think they could get you in to see the nurse, for Pete's sake!
My Blog

Hell yeah that's early!!! S doesn't know where any body parts are, not even his ding ding (and I thought all men knew where that was!)
I see a theme here with you and mtnrider! Haha!
