after no period for 3 months. Had some blood taken (I have to say I was pretty impressed with the woman who did it, as it was completely painless. Every other time I've had blood taken it hasn't been pleasant. Obviously she's got some mad needle sticking skills, props to her).Doctor wrote out a prescription for Provera, not to be started until the blood work results come back and any thyroid issues are ruled out.
I'm pretty optimistic that it's just my body being wonky and that there's nothing amiss, but we'll see in a week, I guess. I never thought I'd be so anxiously awaiting my period.
And I was a bit shocked at how many young girls were sitting in the waiting room with their mothers. Like, middle school-aged. WTF!
BTW, I've been catching up on today's posts and all I can say is WTH ladies? Come on now with this nonsense today. I like you all but dayum. Must be the moon.
Hope everyone has a good night.
Re: Dr appointment today
It was a blue moon yesterday
I hope you and your dr can get the ball rolling, hope your blood work comes back ok for your thyroid!
My Ridiculous Chart
I noticed this on a recent doctor visit too... I made a comment to my doc about it and she told me almost all of them were there for that Gardisil (sp?) Shot... the HPV vaccine.
