Nursing at MSP

I'm wondering wheres a good place to nurse baby at the MSP Airport?  Do they have Family Restrooms, or Nursing rooms or anything like that?  I'm not really into whipping the boob out in public yet.. haha, I'm still kind of clumbsy with it all.

Re: Nursing at MSP

  • I haven't nursed at the airport - but I'm sure I will on our upcoming trip. Just wanted to ask if you have a nursing cover. That's what helped me become comfortable NIP. You can always practice at home before your trip, that way you can make sure everything's concealed. It really does get easier every time. Now I have no problem NIP wherever we are. GL!

  • When you arrive, find an info desk and ask where the family restroom is.  They have a lounge outside that can be used for nursing.  I used it for pumping when I travelled last winter and it was pretty decent.  The only annoying thing was that there was an employee (female) who was clearly taking a break there, despite the signs that said it's not an employee break area.  She left after I started pumping, though.

  • it's right at Gate E. there is a couch, a few chairs & a Crib
  • If you do want a nursing cover I know I got one from this website uddercovers.com & used a code (onefree) I only had to pay shipping like 10$. I havent nursed there either, but took a long enough trip I could had, The bathrooms alone I dont think are comfortable enough to NIP. But I would ask the customer Service desk.

  • I never thought I would nurse in public, but when you get desperate, you'll nurse anywhere! Even on the plane!

  • the family room is fantastic. I nursed in there when DS was 5 months old and we were flying for Christmas. it is semi-private, has two couches, some chairs and a crib, along with changing tables and restrooms right across the hall. LOVED this!
