My husband and I are both joggers (about 3 miles a day, 5 days a week on streets/sidewalks) and also enjoy to hike. We want to get a jogger stroller that will be our primary stroller, and will get the infant car seat adaptor for the first 6 months.
We tested out the BOB and the City Elite in the store. We can see some differences, but are really 50/50 on which one will serve us better. The BOB is lighter and narrower, has an unbelievable amount of positive reviews, seems to be very performance-based, but has a lot of expensive add-ons. The City Elite has the adjustable handlebars, can adjust to fully upright or recline, seems to be a more comfortable seat, comes with some of the add-ons for the BOB, and has more back-height for a growing child.
Why did you choose one over the other, and what do you think will be best for our purposes?
Re: BOB v. City Elite?
the baby jogger equivalent of the BOB revolution is the Summit XC. that's what we have and we love it. we tried both the BOB and the Summit, and liked the Summit more. it was just a matter of personal preference. the City Elite is not a jogger.
